NAY PYI TAW, Myanmar, May 12 (NNN-MNA) - Myanmar and India, on Friday, signed some agreements and memorandums of understanding, on bilateral cooperation in Nay Pyi Taw.
The signings took place, following talks between Myanmar's State Counsellor, Aung San Suu Kyi and visiting Indian Minister of External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj.
The package included an agreement on border crossing and a memorandum of understanding on maintenance of pagodas in Myanmar's Bagan, destroyed by earthquake, among others.
Swaraj, who arrived in Nay Pyi Taw Thursday, had met with President U Win Myint.
The pair vowed to cooperate in trade and investment sectors, as well as, in upgrading the socioeconomic life of the people.-- NNN-MNA
