Nepali Congress (NC) leader Nabindra Raj Joshi has said that NC has the responsibility to safeguard the constitution and ensure its implementation.
At a virtual programme organized here Saturday by Ganeshman Singh Study Foundation, former minister Joshi said that NC has the responsibility to safeguard the constitution since it was promulgated under the leadership of his party.
On the occasion, he accused the government of working against the spirit of the constitution.
Likewise, NC central committee member Pushpa Bhusal claimed that the incumbent government was heading to a centralized form of governance by weakening the constitution.
Former ambassador Prof Dr Lokraj Baral, journalist Pratik Pradhan, NC leader Ajay Dubedi and others expressed their opinions on the occasion arguing that the constitution should be made all acceptable.
