NC holding office-bearers’ meet to discuss contemporary issues

The main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has summoned the party office-bearers’ meeting this afternoon to discuss the contemporary issues.

 

The meeting scheduled for 2:00 pm today at the party central office Sanepa, Lalitpur, to discuss the bill to amend the Nepal’s constitution (second amendment)- 2077 BS registered by the government in the Federal Parliament and existing problem of the COVID-19 in the country, according to NC office chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel.

 

The bill is aimed to adjust a new political map of Nepal published by the government in Nepal’s Coat of Arms featured in the Constitution’s Schedule 3.

 

The meeting is expected to review government efforts so far for the prevention and control of COVID-19 and party’s contribution towards that end.
