The Nepali Congress (NC) has launched a mobile application with the call for ‘Rescue in times of crisis, responsibility of motherland’.
NC Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma shared that President Sher Bahadur Deuba and president and coordinator of different 35 districts where there is Nepali Public Liaison Committee of the party launched the app virtually today.
It was launched in Israel, Belgium, United Kingdom, America, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, Japan, Qatar, Malaysia, Poland, Canada, Macau, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Norway, New Zealand, India, China, among others.
The objective of the app named ‘Rescue Nepali’ is to collect the details of condition of Nepalis facing problem in different countries and willing to return home.
The app has set the goal to help and exert pressure on government of Nepal to make arrangement of relief on the basis of priority of the situation of the people by categorizing the date collected by app and rescue them, he added.
The details of those to be rescued would be presented to the government in order to rescue them. The app was developed by a team comprising former General Secretary of the Centre for Democratic Engineers Nepal, Dipesh Bista, Shashank Shree Neupane, Ashok Shrestha, Narayan Joshi and Amit Sonar.
