President of the major opposition Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed grief over the demise of NC leader and former Minister of State, Duryodhan Singh Chaudhary.
Issuing a press statement on Friday, President Deuba shared that Chaudhary’s demise has caused huge loss to the party and democratic movement in the country. The former Prime Minister Deuba extended condolences to the bereaved families.
Chaudhary died in course of treatment at Gautam Buddha Community Hospital, Butwal, on Friday. He was suffering from cardiac problem.
The late Chaudhary was elected as the parliamentarian from Rupandehi-1 for three times. He had served as the Minister of State for Local Development in 2056 BS.
He is survived by two wives, three sons and a daughter.
