NCP Chair Dahal extends tribute to late Bogati

Chairperson of the Nepal Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has extended tribute to Vice-Chairperson of the then UCPN (Maoist), the late Posta Bahadur Bogati.

At a programme organised at the party headquarters, Dhumrabarahi today on the occasion of the sixth memorial day of Bogati, he recalled Bogati and extended tribute to him.

On the occasion, Chair Dahal garlanded the portrait of late Bogati. No one was appointed to deliver their speech on the occasion due to COVID-19.

Joint In-charge of Bagmati state, Hit Bahadur Tamang, among others were present on the occasion. Bogati died of heart attack on September 15, 2014.

Bogati had taken the responsibility of Energy Ministry, Ministry of Information and Communications, and Tourism Ministry. Born on July 18, 1953 in Nuwakot, Bogati was elected to the member of first Constituent Assembly from Nuwakot constituency no-3 under direct electoral system.
