The ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), which is mired in intraparty feud for quite a while, has called its Secretariat meeting at 3:00 pm at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar, today, according to NCP Publicity and Publication Department Deputy-Chief Surya Thapa.

The meeting is expected to discuss disputes nagging the party and contemporary political issues. The party has summoned the Secretariat meeting by putting off ongoing Standing Committee (SC) meeting which had kicked off on June 24.

The fifth SC meeting is being adjourned time and again to what is said to patch up the intraparty disputes.  Earlier, the meeting was summoned for Friday and postponed till Sunday.

Before the Secretariat meeting today, party Chairs KP Sharma Oli, also the Prime Minister, and Pushpa Kamal Dahal will hold a meeting.
