On May 9th, 2019 the Nepal consulate office, Melbourne and Nepalese community members welcomed international NRNAICC (NonResident Nepalese AssociationInternational Coordination Council) delegates.
Hon. Consul General, Chandra Yonzon, greeted guests with traditional khada to show his utmost respect. Notable guests in attendance included Kumar Panta, ICC Vice President; Kul Acharya, ICC Vice President; Dr Badri K.C, ICC General Secretary; Bishnu Subedi, from the USA and Shyam Tamang, from Bahrain.
Over lunch, Consul General Yonzon raised his concerns about the upcoming ICC election noting that the NRNA should be the voice of reason to the global Nepali diaspora and resist political influences. The friendly congregation of community members concluded the afternoon with group photos and handshakes before saying farewell.
