The Central Policy, Research and Training Academy of the Nepali Congress has conducted orientations to the mahasamiti members, former office bearers, representatives of the general convention and members of the sister organizations from Sankhuwasbha, Bhojpur, Tehrathum and Dhankuta districts.
The virtual orientation was inaugurated by party central Vice-President Bimalendra Nidhi on Tuesday. On the occasion, he said all members in the party were united and with same voice for nationality, democracy and socialism. If the unity is formed on the achievements made so far based on these principles, the NC would not suffer from groupism, he added.
He made the party cadres and district leaders aware not to doubt the provision on Constitution as it was brought under the leadership of Nepali Congress itself.
The first session of the orientation witnessed the views of lawmakers of 2015 BS election Tejman Tumbahamphe, central members Gyanendra Bahadur Karki and Sita Gurung, former ministers Dipak Khadka and Sunil Bahadur Thapa. They hoped that the orientation would help foster further unity in the party.
Similarly, the second session of the orientation had the presentations by Academy Executive Director Purushottam Dahal, training director Khilanath Dahal, and secretariat member Raju Nepal. They had the presentation on objective of orientation, party statute and review on the activities of present government. The participants put forth questions on coming general convention, statute implementation the activities the party needs to prioritize.
