Newly elected ward chairperson in Saptari found dead

Rajendra Sutihar, who was recently elected ward member of Rajgadh Rural Municipality-5 in Saptari district, passed away today.

The 69-year-old newly elected people's representative was found dead while he was sleeping, informed ward chairperson Devendra Sah.

Sutihar had taken part in the victory rally and went to sleep after dinner never to wake up again. He was elected the ward member representing Janata Samajwadi Party. He had received the highest votes among the ward members at 474.
