Nine more cases of coronavirus have been confirmed lately. Assistant Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari said that nine new cases were confirmed during the tests at National Public Health Laboratory, Teku; BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan; and Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj.
Of the new cases, four are from Parsa, three from Dang and one each from Udayapur and Kathmandu districts. Of the infected, three are children, two women and four men. Dr Adhikari said that children are of nine and ten years old from Birgunj Metropolitan City and seven-year-old from Satungal, Kathmandu.
With this total number of infected in the country reached 267. Dr Adhikari said that the health condition of the infected is normal and they are under the surveillance of the health workers.
