NPU condemns incident of attack on journalist Pandey

Nepal Press Union (NPU) has expressed serious concern over the attack on journalist Roshanraj Pandey. Issuing a press release today, NPU condemned the incident of assault on NPU Kathmandu and FNJ Valley Province Committee secretary Pandey in Kavrepalanchowk on Sunday night.

"NPU strongly condemns the assault against Pandey carried out in a way to take his life. The Union demands the government book those involved in the attack", reads the statement.

The NPU has wished for the speedy recovery of injured journalist Pandey and urged the government to arrange free treatment to him.
