Oli urges voters to give him responsibility of developing Bharatpur

CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli on Sunday urged the voters to entrust his party with the responsibility to develop Bharatpur city.

Addressing an election assembly organized by UML, Oli vowed development of Chitwan if UML’s candidates emerge victorious in the May 13 local level election.

Stating that the UML-led government would be formed in the wake of the election, Oli urged the voters in Chitwan to elect Bijay Subedi who he said had ‘hotline connections’ with the top leadership of the party.

The former PM said, “Bharatpur Metropolitan City should be transformed into a smart city and Subedi would deliver towards this.” Furthermore, Oli assured that the UML-led government would perform to give development works an impetus.

Oli also crtiticised the current five-party coalition saying it would not go for a long haul. Oli appealed to the civil employees, Nepali Army and security personnel and parties directly and indirectly involved in the May 13 election not to be distracted from anything and help to conduct election in a free, fair and impartial manner.

Meanwhile, Oli, in another election assembly in Butwal today itself, urged the staff to be deployed for upcoming local level election for the same. He asserted that the police and administrative staff should play a role to make the election fair and impartial.
