One more COVID-19 casualty recorded in Morang, death toll reaches 54 in State No 1

A 37-year-old woman infected with COVID-19 died at Budhiganga Teaching Hospital in Morang district today in course of treatment.

 

The woman hailing from Taplejung district succumbed to the flu-like infection at 11 am, informed Hospital’s chief administrator Sudhirsingh Rathor.

 

A chronic patient of high blood pressure and liver, the woman was admitted to the Hospital on September 14 after she had tested positive for COVID-19.

 

She was being treated at the ICU during which she breathed her last, informed Rathor.

 

Preparation was underway to manage her dead body. With this the number of person in State No 1 losing their lives to COVID-19 reached 54.
