President Park Geun-hye will visit the National Assembly Tuesday morning to hold talks with the speaker.
The chief of staff to National Assembly Speaker Chung Sye-kyun on Tuesday told KBS that the president is coming to the parliament later at 10:30.
The speaker's aide said Park and Chung will discuss the issue of the parliament's endorsement of prime minister nominee Kim Byong-joon.
The presidential office expressed its hope to see opposition leaders at the meeting.
People's Party floor chief, Rep. Park Jie-won, said on his Facebook, however, that he won't join the talks.
President Park's visit comes a day after her chief of staff sought to arrange a meeting between her and rival party leaders.
