A parliamentary panel has been constituted to monitor the market and curb black marketing in view of festivals.
The Industry, Commerce, Labour and Consumers Rights Committee of the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting on Sunday formed the sub-committee to carry out the task of market inspection.
According to Committee President Bimal Shreevastav, the sub-committee will inspect the market till Chhath festival.
The sub-committee comprises parliamentarians Dil Kumari, Maya Devi Neupane, Prakash Rasaili and Sujata Pariyar. It is stated that one member to the committee would be added soon.
It is expected that the sub-committee will be responsible to take necessary actions to control black marketing by taking necessary decisions to control market anomalies during the festival
