Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Leelanath Shrestha vowed that he would work actively to intensify the construction of development infrastructures in Siraha during his ministerial stint.
Minister Shrestha who arrived in home district Siraha on Wednesday first time after he was appointed the minister, addressed a greetings exchange programme at Choharwa of Golbazaar Municipality-7. On the occasion, he said the projects on expansion of roadway, construction of hospital, community building for Dalit and housing programme would be accelerated.
Similarly, the Minister shared the information that a call for tender was made with the allocation of budget for the construction of roadway from Golbazaar to Lagadihadiyani, from Mirchaiya to Solu, and from Choharwa to Indian border.
Works for the construction of 15-bed hospitals in Dhangadhi, Sukhipur, Choharwa and Bishnupur were already forwarded, according to Shrestha.
Shrestha was elected to the member of the House of Representatives from Siraha constituency no 3.
