Seeing male Haj pilgrims with their heads shaved bald, and abandoning their white garments (ihram), signifies the journey of faith has come to an end.
The final Haj ritual would be complete soon, after pilgrims perform the pinnacle of the pilgrimage, which is standing at Arafah, then moving to Muzdalifah, to stay for a night to collect pebbles, before proceeding to Mina, to cast them at Jamrahtul Kubra, on 10 Zulhijjah, which is on Hari Raya Haji.
The pilgrims are required to throw the pebbles at the three pillars namely 'Jamratul Sughra,' 'Jamratul Wusta' and 'Jamratul Kubra' on the three days of Tasyrik - 11, 12 and 13 Zulhijjah.
Once the the pilgrims have completed performing the tawaf (circum-ambulation) around the Kaaba, and walked seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwah, they have accomplished the pilgrimage.
For every pilgrim, after going through the sleepless nights and days of intense prayers, it is the sense of physical nourishment and spiritual well-being that gives them the satisfaction.
