Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has urged voters to give a overwhelming majority to the Nepali Congress in the May 13 local elections.

Addressing an election rally held at Ward No. 2 of Ganyapadhura Rural Municipality on Monday, Deuba pledged to develop all areas including educational and technical sectors in his home municipality.

He also urged people to not believe the support allegedly provided to the UML in the name of Nepali Congress BP with Karuwa as the election symbol.

The NC President also urged voters to vote for Nepali Congress candidate for the post of Chair of Ganyapadhura Rural Municipality Indra Bahadur Karki. He also pledged that the Bhatkanda-Ruvakhola-Badal road would be blacktopped.

The Prime Minister on the occasion also said that he would rebuild his house in Matela village of Ruwakhola of Ganyapadhura rural municipality-1.
