PM Deuba and UMl Chair meet begins

A meeting between Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and main opposition CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has started at latter’s residence at Balkot.

Oli Secretariat shared that leaders of Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) have started discussion about the US grant project, Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, NC Vice-President Purna Bahadur Khadka and General-Secretary Gagan Thapa are participating in the meeting. UMl Chair Oli is with General Secretary Shanker Pokharel and Deputy General-Secretary Pradeep Gyawali, the secretariat informed.

Earlier today, PM Deuba held separate discussions with ruling coalition parties leaders, including CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal.

As informed, discussion is being held on the agenda of endorsing MCC from the parliament and giving outlet to parliamentary stalemate. —
