Deputy Inspector General of the Armed Police Force (APF) Narayan Dutta Poudel has been recommended for his promotion to the post of Additional Inspector General (AIG).
Though two posts were lying vacant for AIG, Poudel has been only recommended for the post based on seniority. The posts remained vacant when APF AIG Raju Aryal was promoted to IGP and another AIG Ram Sharan Poudel got retirement.
A meeting of the promotion committee on Wednesday recommended Poudel for promotion. The recommendation was made as per the Rule 39 (1)(A) of the APF Police Regulation, 2072 BS.
The dissatisfied DIGs can file their complaint at the grievance hearing committee within seven days after promotion as per the Rule 55 of the Regulation. ---
