In his brief visit to the district on Tuesday, the Maoist Centre Chair met leaders of Nepali Congress and CPN (Unified Socialist).

It is said that Prachanda met NC Chitwan District Committee President Rajeshwor Khanal and Bharatpur Metropolitan Committee President Chitrasen Adhikari. Adhikari is also the candidate of deputy-mayor from the five-party alliance in Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

Likewise, Dahal met CPN (Unified Socialist) central committee member Krishna Khanal as well.

After the meeting, NC District Committee President Khanal said discussions were held to make the electoral alliance firm and maintaining the alliance up to the ward level. He said issues would be discussed in detail after Friday.
