President Bhandari donates two months’ remunerations for treatment of COVID-19 patients

President Bidya Devi Bhandari has donated two months of her remunerations for the fiscal year, 2020/21 for the control and prevention of global COVID-19 infection and treatment of the infected people.

The amounts would be deposited in the 'Coronavirus Infection Prevention, Control and Treatment Fund' set up by the government for the control and prevention of the global infection.

President Bhandari also donated her festival allowances to be deposited in the Fund, said Hari Prasad Dahal, Spokesperson for the Office of President, in a statement today.
