Rainfall forecast for next three days across the nation

Rainfall has been predicted at most of the places across the country for next three days, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

Meteorologist Barun Poudel said that there is possibility of light to moderate rainfall across the nation till Friday due to impact of monsoon low pressure system.

He added, “The rainfall will take place during morning and night. This is the pre-phenomena of the end of monsoon season. Normally, monsoon season ends towards September 23.”

Skies across the country have remained cloudy and some places of State-1, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim states have been witnessing light to moderate rain with lightning.

Heavy rainfall has been forecast at one or two places of Gandaki state. As per the recent details of the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature of Kathmandu Valley has been recorded at 19.8 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature at 28.3 degrees Celsius.
