Chairperson of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has said the regressive force would be defeated in the upcoming local level election.

Welcoming different persons into his party in the capital city on Friday, Chairperson Nepal said progressive force should be made victorious for the nation's prosperity in line with the aspirations of Nepali citizens.

The CPN (Unified Socialist) is the continuation of the Pushpalal-era communist party, he viewed, adding that his party was already tested regarding its service to the country and people.

The former Prime Minister asked the party leaders and cadres to struggle against regression by being organised and forging working alliance with the left and democratic while ensuring the party's organisation at the grassroots.

On the occasion, Nepal also appealed to the parties in the current electoral alliance not to demonstrate arrogance but to move ahead by being realistic.
