The Division Forest Office Myagdi informed that it had distributed relief amount to the victims in the fiscal year 2021/22.

Acting Divisional Forest Officer Manoj Ranabhat shared that relief amount was distributed to 50 households who had to bear loss of their livestock in the incidents of leopard attack.

"As per the work procedure set out by the province government, relief amount was distributed to the farmers for the loss of 37 goats including castrated goats, seven kids and six pigs", he said.

As informed, farmers of Mangala rural municipality were the hardest hit in the series of leopard attacks.
