A revolving fund has been instituted in the name of senior journalist and child litterateur late Vinaya Kasajoo.
The Palpali Sangam announced the establishment of the fund in the name of Kasajoo on the 45th memorial day of his demise. He died on November 26, 2019 at the age of 72.
Participants of a memorial assembly organized here today including parliamentarian Som Prasad Pandey and child litterateur Pramod Pradhan among others talked about various facades and facets of Kasajoo who had published more than 50 literary books for children and many books on mass communications.
Shedding light on his contribution in the sector of information and technology, the participants illustrated the career of Kasajoo who had served as the first Chief Commissioner of the country's National Information Commission (2008 2012).
Kasajoo was also noted for publishing the first in flight magazine named 'Chautaro' in the country in 1976.
