Division Road Office, Kathmandu, is planning to construct disabled-friendly roads in different places in the current fiscal year.

Chief of Division Kuber Nepali shared that the task has already been started in the vicinity of Singhadurbar.

According to him, separate track for the commuters would be constructed in the first stage considering the flow of the commuters. “This will be gradually expanded to all roads,” Nepali added.

Likewise, the Division Office is preparing to construct roads for commuters in the under-construction roads. The road for commuters is developed along the under-construction Gaushala-Chabahil road section.

Similarly, the commuters will have own road along the Koteshwor-Jadibuti section.
