The ruling party Province Assembly members in Sudurpaschim have complained that that the policy and programmes of the province government for the fiscal year 2021/22 failed to incorporate major issues.
Taking part in the deliberation on the policy and programmes on Saturday, lawmakers Nepalu Chaudhary and Pathan Singh Bohora commented that the policy and progarmmes had no new taste as it avoided significant concern of people.
Similarly, ruling party other lawmakers Harka Bahdur Kunwar, Amar Bahadur Saud, Devaki Malla, Prem Prakash Bhatta, Sushila Budhathoki and Nanda Bahadur Saud stressed the effective implementation of the policy and progarmme.
On the other hand, opposition party lawmakers opined to coordinate with all in course of preparing new budget and its effective implementation. Most of the speakers stressed the need to include the programmes that address the issues of Dalit, Raute, bonded labourers and other marginalized communities.
The deliberation will continue on Sunday as well.
