Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) Employees' Association has decided to present this year's the late 'Basu Rimal Yatri' prize to RSS executive editor and English desk chief Deepraj Sanyal and office assistant Ramchandra Basnet.
The award institutionalised in 2066 BS in the commemoration of Association's founder Rimal will be presented on February 19 on the occasion of the RSS 59th anniversary. A meeting of the Association executive committee on Sunday decided to present the award carrying a purse of Rs 5,001 each to Sanyal and Basnet, Association secretary Chhabi Kumal said.
(The) late Yatri had served at the RSS till 2055 BS as the managing editor. He had passed away in 2066 BS.
