Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon is publicly calling for all of President Park's Cabinet members to resign.
Mayor Park reportedly got into a heated exchange Tuesday with Cabinet ministers, telling them they too bear responsibility for the Choi Soon-sil influence-peddling scandal.
In a news conference, he also criticized the government for rushing to conclude a sensitive military intelligence deal with Japan.
Defense Minister Han Min-koo and numerous experts have argued that the deal is long overdue and is necessary for South Korea's national security.
