SNU Professors Urge Park to Step Down

Over 700 professors at Seoul National University(SNU) have issued a joint statement calling for the resignation of President Park Geun-hye.

The faculty members on Monday held a news conference at the university's Asia Center to issue their joint call on the president.

The 728 professors said in the statement that the president lost her qualification to guard the constitutional order and urged her to take her hands off of state affairs.

While demanding a thorough investigation and punishment of those responsible for the Choi Soon-sil scandal, they also urged the leaders of the ruling party to step down alongside the president.
