The government has established Social Entrepreneurship Fund. Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Parbat Gurung has said that the fund was established aimed at promoting entrepreneurship to boost the national prosperity.
While addressing a programme organized by Social Welfare Council (SWC) today, Minister Gurung shared that the fund was established under the SWC.
The Minister Gurung, also chair of the Council opined to reach the entrepreneurship programme to every village in the country even after incorporating it in university programmes.
The Council vice chair Dr Padam Prasad Khatiwada argued that the trust was essential even to make the social organizations self-reliant. The Council has assigned Sushil Gyawali as the coordinator of the fund.
