State 5 SA main opposition leader dies

State 5 State Assembly's main opposition party leader Baladev Sharma Pokhrel has passed away. He was 82.

The leader succumbed to cancer he had been struggling with for a year at his Khairiya-based private resident at Tilottama municipality-14 in Rupandehi at 1:00 pm today.

He was born on Magh 19, 1994 BS at Tusara of Pyuthan. He was the Nepali Congress proportional candidate in the SA. He was the senior most- member in the SA.

Earlier, he had been admitted to the Rupandehi-based Crimson Hospital for chest infection and was brought to home few days back. He is survived by his spouse, four sons and two daughters.
