Sudanese President Omer Al-Bashir has lauded the citizens for their deep recognition of the economic and living conditions of the countryand for their patience and real patriotism.
In an address delivered here Monday on the dissolution of the National Accord Government, President Al-Bashir said that the patriotic stances of the Sudanese people was their attitude under all the challenges that confronted the nation-building process.
He expressed gratitude to the Sudanese people for their patience and persistence on the challenges resulting from the unfair blockade which has closed the door for the entry of foreign resources into Sudan, due to adherence of Sudan to its principles, independence and sovereignty.
Following the dissolution of the government, the president also swore into office Lieutenant-General Bakri Hassan Salih as the First Vice-President of the Republic, the same position he held previously, while Mohamed Yousif Kibir took oath of office as Vice-President, replacing Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman.
Muttaz Musa was also sworn in as the Prime Minister in new government. Bakri had previously been both First Vice-President and Prime Minister.
Vice-President Mohamed Yousif Kibir said in a statement later that they would support the President in their assignments which come as part of the national programme for the economic situation.
He pointed out that recognizing the requirements of the stage needs good measures within the real will to effect a positive change in economic and political conditions.
