Two Saenuri Members to Leave Party

nepalnewsgazette.com November 21, 2016     Comment Closed     Trading

Two Saenuri members are set to announce their defection from the ruling party.

Gyeonggi Governor Nam Kyung-pil and Representative Kim Yong-tae said on Monday that they will officially announce their departure on Tuesday at the National Assembly.

The two Saenuri members reportedly decided to leave after the party leadership rejected calls for their resignation by other party members.

Their move marks the first secession of key Saenuri figures since the Choi Soon-sil scandal broke.
