Upgradation of National City Hospital in Bharatpur reaches final stage

The upgradation of the National City Hospital in Bharatpur has reached its final stage. The 55-bed hospital will be upgraded to 100 beds. The construction of a seven-storey building for the hospital has reached its final stage, said the hospital manager Bikram Adhikari. The Ministry of Building and Urban Development has granted permission the building construction and the construction follows the building codes set by the Ministry of Health. “The costs of the project is estimated to be Rs 1.5 billion. The hospital will be well equipped and be a model in the district,” Adhikari claimed. There are 200 shareholders in the project. The hospital building spanning around 12 kattha of land have a capacity of 200 beds, said the hospital operator Saroj Dhakal. The hospital will offer all types of services including specialisation, he said.
