The fighter jets flying for the US-led coalition and the Turkish air force pounded the residential areas in the two provinces of Raqqa and Aleppo in Syria, killing at least 10 civilians.

The Turkish fighter jets targeted the residential areas in al-Bab city in Northeastern Aleppo which killed at least 7 civilians, wounded several others and destroyed many houses, according to the local and media sources on Thursday.

The sources added that the number of civilian casualties may rise as a number of wounded people are in critical conditions.

Meantime, the US-led coalition warplanes launched airstrikes against civilian targets in al-Tabaqah city in Western Raqqa, killing 3 civilians and smashing their houses and the city's infrastructures.

Sources within the Turkish army ranks disclosed on Wednesday that the country's soldiers and their militant allies from the Free Syrian Army (FSA) had entered the town of al-Bab.

As field sources had previously said that the ISIS intended to hand over al-Bab to the Euphrates Shield Forces, including FSA, and push towards Manbij and capture it.

Now military sources reported that the Turkish army men and FSA militants had moved through the gates of al-Bab Northeast of Aleppo province.

The Turkish Armed Forces said on Wednesday that four Turkish servicemen were killed while 15 were injured in the clashes with ISIL in the city of al-Bab in Northern Syria, FNA reported
