nepalnewsgazette.com January 15, 2021     Comment Closed     General

Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development in Bagmati Province Rameshwar Phuyal has said the province government was creating physical infrastructures at every ward for yog.

At a programme organized by Shankharapur Municipality at Sankhu, Kathmandu on Thursday to mark the 6th National Yog Day, Minister Phuyal viewed yog could be promoted as a world culture. "The science or the philosophy that ensures peace, prosperity and happiness in the world is the yog, so government is committed to reaching it at people's level," he said, adding that every house will plant a tree to make Bagmati a green province.

Mayor at Shankharapur Municipality Subarna Shrestha said yog is essential to spiritual development of human being in addition to physical progress. He shared that a programme was launched to provide yog training to a teacher from each community school in the municipality.

Similarly, administrative officer at municipality Bhojraj Khatiwada informed that local curriculum had included yog and teaching learning begun accordingly.
