A total of 140 female workers of Rural
Employment and Road Maintenance Programme (RERMP)-3 today got cheques of Taka
1,68,56,000 in the district.
They deposited the money with RERMP-3 implemented by the Local Government
Engineering Department (LGED).
Each of the beneficiary women got Taka 1,20,400 at a function arranged at the
conference room of Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila Parishad (UP) this morning.
Executive Engineer of Chapainawabganj LGED Md Anwar Hossain distributed the
cheques and certificates among the workers as the chief guest with
Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila Engineer of LGED Md. Sadrul Islam in the chair.
Newly-posted LGED Upazila Engineer Md Azharul Islam, Sub Assistant Engineers
Md Sanaullah and Md Abu Sayem and Training Officer Md Mahtab Ali spoke on the
occasion, among others.
The female workers deposited the money for four years.
