19 Nepali Nationals Deported by US Arrive in Kathmandu


Kathmandu: Nineteen Nepali nationals deported by the United States for illegal entry or stay have arrived in Kathmandu this evening. The group includes two women and 17 men.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the deportees were transported on a chartered flight organized by US authorities. Upon their arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, the TIA Immigration Office completed the necessary procedures before transferring them to the Nepal Police for further processing, stated Senior Immigration Officer Anjan Neupane.



This latest deportation follows the return of 215 Nepalis previously deported from the US.
