Narail: A 20-day fair on the occasion of the Youth Festival was inaugurated today in the district with the slogan “Let’s change the country, Let’s change the world” to build a new Bangladesh. Khulna Divisional Commissioner Md. Firoz Sarkar inaugurated the fair as the chief guest at the Narail Government High School ground, organized by the district administration this afternoon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Narail Deputy Commissioner Sharmin Akhter Jahan presided over the function, with Superintendent of Police Kazi Ehsanul Kabir attending as the special guest. The event saw participation from several notable figures, including Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Abdur Rashid, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Lincoln Biswas, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Md. Ahsan Mahmud Russell, and District Education Officer Muhammad Jahangir Alam, alongside other officials from various administration and government departments.
On the occasion, a youth rally was held, emphasizing the festival’s focus on youth engagement and empowerment. Following the rally, the chief guest toured different stalls set up at the fair, showcasing various initiatives and projects aimed at fostering youth development and innovation.
