Dhaka: Three brokerage houses — Bank Asia Securities Limited, Green Delta Securities Limited, and NBL Securities Limited — have received FIX certification from the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) to help offer value-added services to their investors.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the DSE awarded the certification during an event at the DSE boardroom in the city. Chief Regulatory Officer Khairul Basar Abu Taher Mohammad and General Manager and Acting Chief Operating Officer Md Samiul Islam were present to hand over the certificates.
The DSE began implementing an API-based Broker House Order Management System (BHOMS) in 2020. In response, 59 brokerage houses applied to integrate their order management systems (OMS) with the Nasdaq Matching Engine via API connections.
To date, 24 brokerage houses have received FIX certification, and 19 have already launched their own OMS through API connections.
