No possibility of government change: NC leader Koirala


Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has ruled out any possibility in the change of the incumbent government.

He advised the opposition parties not to dream of toppling the government.

Addressing the first district convention of Nepal Ex-Army Association Morang in Belbari today, leader Koirala clarified there was no chance of breaking the government that was constituted to maintain political stability, economic development and good governance.

Stating that the NC-UML coalition government will remain intact till the next election, leader Koirala said, “The government will not collapse, it will continue, but the ministers should work honestly’.

Leader Koirala said, “It has not been long since this government was formed, so it should be allowed to work”.

He emphasized on the need for the government to present in an assertive manner to maintain good governance.

On another note, leader Koirala said the Constitution will not be amended by the strength of Congress and UML alone, every political force sho
uld come together for this.

The first district convention elected a new working committee under the chair of Prem Gurung.
