The Bhaktapur Hospital has been rated the best-performing health service providers among 13 hospitals being operated in the Bagamati Province.
The award of excellence was provided to the hospital based on the province-level annual review of the performance of the health offices in the fiscal year 2080-81 (2023-24) undertaken by the Ministry of Health, Bagamati Province.
Chief Minister Bahadur Singh Lama and Province Health Minister Kiran Thapa handed over the award and certificate to the hospital, Hospital Director Dr Sumitra Gautam told the RSS today.
The review meeting concluded on Wednesday. The hospital had earlier also received the Award of Excellence. According to Dr Gautam, the hospital will start the MRI service next month.
