Kathmandu: The match between Nepal and Bangladesh to decide the winner of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Women’s Championship has ended in a goalless draw at half time.
The match is being played under lights at Dasarath Stadium in Tripureswar.
The final match of the tournament started in the presence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakashman Singh, Minister for Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary.
Host Nepal is trying to make its first championship win, after defeating five time champions India 4-2 in a penalty shootout in the semi-final. Bangladesh eased to the finals following a 7-1 win against Bhutan.
