Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli visited the Chandragiri hill on Friday, utilizing the festival holiday. Reaching atop the Chandragiri hill and visiting the Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple, the PM also spent time in writing poetic lines celebrating the Goddess Satidevi. In the poem, he depicted the mythical love stories relating to Goddess Sati and Chandragiri hill. PM Oli was accompanied by his spouse Radhika Shakya and secretariat members during the visit.
According to National News Agency RSS, Chairman of Chandragiri Hills Pvt, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, expressed encouragement from the PM’s visit and his poetic writing at the site. Although PM Oli mentions he is not a poet or a litterateur, those close to him recognize a creative faculty in him, citing his philosophical and literary inclinations. In his previous stint as PM in 2075BS, he attended a literary conference at Chandragiri hill where he composed a poem relating to mortality, yearning, and happiness.
