Biratnagar: The Manmohan Technical University in Biratnagar is set to introduce a BBA LLB programme this year.
According to National News Agency Nepal, University’s Vice-Chancellor Dr Subash Shree Pokharel announced that the University will implement this special integrated 5-year law programme for the first time in the country.
The course is a model designed by the University to produce skilled human resources in management law. Vice-Chancellor Pokharel stated that the fee for the five-year academic programme is set at Rs 450,000. The University has made special arrangements for meritorious students and reserved 10 per cent of the total 45 seats for women, Dalits, and other marginalized communities.
The emphasis of the course is on practical education rather than theoretical learning. Students will have the opportunity to conduct research and surveys, and gain practical knowledge on cyber crimes. Additionally, the programme will cover practical knowledge on the procurement process.
