Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted that the weather will likely remain dry for the next 24 hours, starting from this morning. The forecast, effective from 9 am, indicates that the country will experience dry conditions with a temporary partly cloudy sky.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a ridge of the sub-continental high is extending up to West Bengal and its adjoining areas, while a seasonal low lies over the South Bay, extending its trough to the North Bay. These meteorological conditions contribute to the likelihood of dry weather across Bangladesh.
The forecast also mentions the possibility of light to moderate fog occurring over the country from late night to morning. As for temperatures, the night temperature may see a slight drop, whereas the day temperature is expected to remain almost unchanged.
On Monday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 30.8 degrees Celsius in Teknaf. Conversely, Tetulia experienced the lowest temperature today, recorded at 09.6 degrees Celsius. In the capital, Dhaka, the sun is set to go down at 05:32 pm today and will rise again at 06:43 am tomorrow.
