Dhaka: Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan departed from Dhaka today, embarking on a nine-day official visit to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the visit to Saudi Arabia, scheduled from February 9-13, is at the invitation of the Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force. During this period, Air Chief Marshal Khan is set to tour various installations of the Royal Saudi Air Force and engage in a courtesy call with its Commander. The discussions are expected to focus on bilateral issues of mutual interest, aiming to strengthen ties between the two nations.
Following his stay in Saudi Arabia, the Air Chief will visit the United Arab Emirates from February 14-15, at the invitation of the UAE Embassy. His itinerary includes attending the Air Staff Talk and participating in training and exercise exchanges. Additionally, he will visit different facilities of the United Arab Emirates Air Force and hold discussions with its Commander to explore further bilateral cooperation.
This visit is anticipated to significantly enhance the professional collaboration and strengthen the bilateral relationships between Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The Chief of Air Staff is expected to return to Bangladesh on February 16.
